Getting started with your new tikiwiki site

Intro

This site has been customized to be suitable for websites for projects or institutions. The site is divided into two parts : one public, one private. Private pages are visible and editable only by people in the group 'Members' on this site. Members can also edit new pages, add event to the calendar, etc.

Privacy settings

By default, new pages are private. Members can publish a page via the statut box on the left (visible only by members) to make it public. To make a public page private, click on the red cross.

Members are listed on the page Members.

Already on this site :

All these feature can further be customized by the site administrator which login is admin (password is sent at tiki creation). Once logged as admin, the admin menu appear with shortcuts towards majors functionnalities.

By default, only members of the site can view and access files and images galleries. Admin can change this setting for a specific gallery in its perms or for all the site in the groups permissions settings.
